Bethlehem (Fides Service) - Juthouruna (Our Roots) is the name of a new magazine mainly for Christian youth presented yesterday 7 June in Bethlehem at the local Catholic Action Hall. “At last we have our first issue, after much preparation and work” Charlie Abu Saada, editor of Juthouruna told Fides.
The magazine was officially presented to the public at a party attended by a number of people including 350 young Christians from all over the region but mainly from Jerusalem and Bethlehem, and since the magazine is for them it was presented by a young Christian. Civil and religious authorities were also present. The evening was graced with the performance of the Franciscan girls choir from Bethlehem. Charlie Abu Saada asked for prayers for the initiative “so we may go ahead on our mission to give young people hope and help them say no to hatred and war”.
