Vatican City (Fides Service) - Cardinal Crescenzio Sepe, Prefect of the Congregation for the Evangelisation of Peoples has, 16 July 2004, appointed national director of the Pontifical Mission Societies in Mexico for a five year term (2004-2009), Rev. Father Guillermo A. Morales Martinez, of the clergy of Monterrey. The new national director was born on 8 April 1952 and ordained a priest on 25 March 1983. He has since been assistant priest and then parish priest in several parishes; spiritual director and bursar at Monterrey Major Seminary, episcopal Vicar for one of the pastoral zones in which the archdiocese is divided. Since 1995 he has been episcopal Vicar for Missions and PMS diocesan Director. Since 2001 he has also been director of the archdiocesan Centre of Spirituality and Formation for lay missionaries.
