ASIA/TAIWAN - Local community of Opus Dei celebrates Mass of thanksgiving to God for its founder Saint San Jose Maria Escrivá

Taipei (Fides Service) - To celebrate the feast day of founder of Opus Dei Saint Jose María Escrivá canonised by Pope John Paul 6 October 2002 in Rome, the local Opus Dei community in Taiwan, guided by Rev. Rolando Sia, held a special Mass this morning June 25 at Holy Saviour parish. The Mass was presided by the Archbishop of Taipei, Archbishop Joseph Cheng. The Opus Dei community in Taiwan invited everyone to the Mass of thanksgiving to God for Saint Jose María Escrivá who founded ‘God’s Work’ in Madrid on 2 October 1928.
