ASIA/KOREA - Auxiliary Bishop of Seoul issues message for national Day for Persons with a Disability

Rome (Fides Service) - On April 20 the National Day for the Disabled was celebrated in Seoul and Auxiliary Bishop Lucas Kim Woon-hoe issued a message urging local Catholics to work to overcome discrimination with regard to persons with disabilities recalling that they are also members of the Church.
In his message “Making God’s work Visible” (cf. Jn 9,3 the Bishop said, “people with disabilities are our brothers and sisters in the Lord and must share everything with them, put aside indifference, prejudice, overcome discrimination which in reality exist among us ”.
“As believers we must reflect on how to be good friends of all those with a disability” said Bishop Lucas Kim Woon-hoe.
