Vatican City (Fides Service) - Cardinal Crescenzio Sepe, Prefect of the Congregation for the Evangelisation of Peoples has, 13 February 2004, appointed National Director of the Pontifical Mission Societies in Bolivia Reverend Eugenio Scarpellini Mazzoleni, fidei donum priest from the Italian diocese of Bergamo. The new National Director was born on 8 January 1954 at Verdellino (Bergamo). He was ordained a priest on 17 June 1978. After various duties in the diocese in 1987 he was sent as a fidei donum priest to the archdiocese of La Paz where he was: parish priest in different places (1988-1994); bursar-Administrator of the San Jeronimo major seminary (1993-2000); Director of Mariengarten College.
