Taipei (Fides Service) – With a new monthly publication Renlai, Jesuits in Taiwan intend to promote authentic dialogue with the Chinese world. Renlai, meaning “Flute of Humanity”, is published by the “Ricci Cultural Enterprise”, run by the Jesuits. The review will be directed by Jesuits with collaborators from all over the world, specially from Taiwan, mainland China and overseas Chinese communities.
Contributors will be French, Japanese and American authors and there will be close synergy with Jesuits in the rest of the world, particularly with the French review Etudes.
Renlai will address social, economic, political, religious questions, from the point of view of the Chinese world, with editorials, interviews, comments, contributions by experts. Renlai will also have an attractive graphic aspect to make reading even more pleasant.
