Vatican City (Fides) – Cardinal Crescenzio Sepe, Prefect of the Congregation for the Evangelisation of Peoples has appointed 31 October 2003, rector of the Paul VI Major Inter-diocesan Seminary in Kabinda in Democratic Congo, Reverend Father Raymond Matand of the clergy of Luiza diocese. The new Rector, aged 45 was ordained 14 years ago. He has a Licentiate in Philosophy at the Catholic Faculty of Kinshasa. He has been Pro-Rector of the same Seminary since 2002 (S.L.)
