Vatican City (Fides Service) - Cardinal Crescenzio Sepe, Prefect of the Congregation for the Evangelisation of Peoples has (16 October 2003) appointed national director of the Pontifical Mission Societies (Munich) Germany Rev. Father Eric Englert Order of Saint Augustine. Rev Englert was born on 16 December 1951 at Veitshochheim, Wurzburg. He went to a school run by the Augustinian Fathers and entered the Order making his first profession in 1972. He studied theology in Wurzburg and made his perpetual profession in 1976. He was ordained a priest in 1978. He has since been chaplain, parish priest, counsellor of the Augustinian Provincial Curia, spiritual director for seminarians, provincial superior.
