CEP APPOINTMENTS - ASIA/TAIWAN – REV. JOHN B. LEE KEH-MIEN APPOINTED RECTOR OF TAIPEI INTERDIOCESAN SEMINARY

Vatican City (Fides Service) – Cardinal Crescenzio Sepe, Prefect of the Congregation for the Evangelisation of Peoples on 22 July 2003, has appointed Rector of the inter-diocesan Seminary of Taipei in Taiwan, Reverend Father John B. Lee Keh-Mien, of Hsinchu diocesan clergy.
The new rector was born on 23 August 1959. He attended St. Thomas major seminary. He studied philosophy at Fu Jen Catholic University and theology in Ireland (Maynooth). Ordained a priest in 1990, he was immediately appointed Rector of St Francis Xavier minor seminary. Then he carried out pastoral ministry at Hsinchu cathedral and in 2003 he completed his studies in Canon Law with a doctorate St. Thomas University. (S.L.)
