Vatican City (Fides Service) - Cardinal Crescenzio Sepe, Prefect of the Congregation for the Evangelisation of Peoples, has appointed (15 May 2003) Rector of the Inter-Diocesan Seminary in Taegu, Korea, Reverend John Sung Ho.
Reverend John Sung Ho was born on 6 December 1953 and ordained a priest on 22 January 1982. He has since been: assistant priest and parish priest 1984-1986; studies for a Licentiate and Doctorate in Dogmatic Theology at Urban University Rome; under-secretary of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Korea; professor of theology, Daegu Catholic University; dean of the Theology Faculty; director of Theology faculty; chaplain of pastoral office at the University; director of the University Project Office.
