Rome (Fides Service) - Cardinal Crescenzio Sepe, Prefect of the Congregation for the Evangelisation of Peoples has appointed ( 7 February 2003) Rector of the National Propaedeutic Seminary in Burasira, diocese of Ngozi, Burundi, Reverend Bonaventura Nahimana of the Konongo-Mampongo diocese. Reverend Nahimana was born 30 June 1959 in Giheta, Ghana. He attended local schools and then studied for the priesthood in Burasira. He was ordained a priest on 18 August 1986 and then studied pedagogy in Abidjan, Ivory Coast. He has been: prefect of studies, diocesan vocations animator, parish assistant, rector of Mugera minor seminary, spiritual director of Burasira major seminary, rector ad interim of Burasira major seminary.
