Algiers (Fides Service) - "Rencontres" the monthly publication of the Catholic diocese of Algiers has published the list of events for the year 2003 organised by Algerian Universities in collaboration with Universities in France. The first event for this year is a Conference in Paris and the UNESCO Building 30 and 31 January on "Monotheist religions in Algeria through the ages: Judaism, Christianity and Islam" . The conference is organised by Professor Tahar Absi of La Bouzareah. This is the first time that an Algerian University organises an international event.
