Luanda (Fides Service) - Seven years ago the Dominicans in Luanda
opened Mosaiko a Cultural Center for education to peace and formation
in various subjects. In seven years the Centre has published more
than 30 books, on law, human rights, formation and education to
peace; organised 40 seminars on human rights, Angola's constitution,
children's rights, in ten different provinces. Other activities
include meetings for representatives of rival communities, to
foster reconciliation and build bonds among the various groups
and also with the state authorities. In June this year Mosaiko
opened a library which is very popular among students, teachers
and researchers. Moreover national radio and television have broadcast
12 programmes produced by the Centre. More
