Rome (Fides Service) - "Between the light and the darkness we choose light, between good and evil we bear witness to the supreme good that is Jesus Christ". This statement is part of a Commitment Paper signed by Italian Franciscan Youth as a path for the third millennium. The main points of the Paper which takes inspiration from the life of St Francis, include: rediscovering life as a gift of God; living the Word; taking a stand for Jesus Christ and his Gospel; assisting the poor; announcing the Resurrection of Jesus to everyone we meet.
