Rome (Fides Service) - Recently the ancient city of Rome called
one of its beautiful piazzas after the Korean Church's martyrs.
Largo dei Santi Martiri Coreani is not far from the Pontifical
Korean College, the seminary in central Rome, opened by Pope John
Paul II on 23 March 2001. Fr Anthony Talsu Jon, rector of the
College which is home for Korean priest students studying in Rome,
says that a statue of Saint Andrea Kim Tae-gon, patron of Korean
clergy will be set up in the square. He welcomes Korean visitors
to Rome to visit the college and the piazza. SL (Fides Service
