Quito (Fides Service) - In Quito a group of lay Catholics have opened a School for Apostolate in New Evangelisation. Italo Pergallo, head of the school, says the initiative is to help lay Catholics fulfil their Baptismal promises, live a Christian life, announce the Good News and take an active part in new evangelisation. The aim of the school is "to promote a life style that recognises Jesus as the basis of everything and the centre of all life". (Fides Service 10/12/2002)
