Rome (Fides Service) - "The Rosary is a prayer which beats with the rhythm of our charism" tp preach the Gospel. Fr Carlos Azpiroz Costa OP, Master General of the Order of the Dominicans said this in a letter to Pope John Paul II thanking him for calling a year of the Rosary and writing the Rosarium Virginis Mariae Apostolic Letter on the subject. "The Rosary has always been for our missionary friars an excellent means of catechetical preaching" Fr Carlos writes and he says he is sure " the year of the Rosary will help everyone to praise, bless and preach through this devotion, the infinite mercy of the Father who has had pity on the misery of mankind".
