Vatican City (Fides Service) - At the request of Pope John Paul II Cardinal Crescenzio Sepe, Prefect of the Congregation for the Evangelisation of Peoples will represent the Pope at celebrations in Ernakulam, Kerala, India 16 and 17 November, for the 1950th anniversary of the arrival here of St Thomas the Apostle and also to commemorate the great missionary to the Far East St Francis Xavier on the 450th anniversary of his death.
