Quito (Fides Service) - To close the missionary month of October, the national Pontifical Mission Societies office in Ecuador has organised a missionary parade through the streets of Quito, the capital on Sunday October 27. The aim of the initiative is to "Carry the faith through the streets". During the parade the participants will pray the Rosary. The parade will end in St Francis Square where there will be a Mission Festival with songs and testimonies. Delegations from about thirty schools, parishes and movements will take part, some 5,000 young people are expected. The missionary parade will be broadcast on national radio.
