Vatican City (Fides Service) - Cardinal Crescenzio Sepe, Prefect of the Congregation for the Evangelisation of Peoples, (CEP) has appointed, 11 October 2002, Rector of the St Peter Chanel Regional Pacific Seminary in Suva archdiocese, Fiji islands, Reverend Father Veremo Dovarua. Reverend Dovarua was born on November 30, 1952. ordained on 2 September 1987 he studied in various seminaries including St Joseph, Dunwoodie New York where he obtained an MA in Religious Studies, and a Licentiate in theology and ecumenical studies at the Angelicum in Rome. He has been pastoral assistance and parish priest and vice rector of the St Peter Chanel Seminary. (Fides Service 26/10/2002)
