Vatican (Fides Service) - This is the 80th anniversary of the arrival in China of the first apostolic delegate, Archbishop Celso Constantini (1876-1958), who nine years later founded the first Chinese Religious Congregation. In 1922 on November 8, the Archbishop reached Hong Kong and on December 29 he arrived Beijing. The Congregatio Discipulorum Domini, founded by Archbishop Constantini in 1931, this year marks its 71st anniversary.
