| CAM 2 CONGRESS OBJECTIVES |
GENERAL OBJECTIVE
To animate the life of the local churches of the continent so
that, from their evangelising experience, they assume responsibly
and in solidarity the commitment of mission ad gentes.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
- To share each local Churches' experience of personal encounter
with Christ, in order to foster a profound inculturation of
the Gospel.
- To propose, from particular Churches, new paths in the proclamation
of the Gospel of life for the building of the Reign of truth
and of love.
- To enliven the participation of the parish community as the
most important cell of the particular Church in the mission
ad gentes.
- To assume in our particular Churches the challenges of globalization,
of cultures, of human migrations, of ecumenism, of new religious
movements, and of inter-religious dialogue.
