AFRICA/GHANA – REV. RAPHAEL OSEI SOADWAH APPOINTED RECTOR OF SAINT PAUL MAJOR SEMINARY IN ACCRA

Vatican City (Fides Service ) – Cardinal Crescenzio Sepe, Prefect of the Congregation for the Evangelisation of Peoples, has (9 October 2003) appointed rector of Saint Paul’s Inter-diocesan Major Seminary in Accra, Rev. Father Raphael Osei Soadwah, a member of Kumasi diocesan clergy. The new Rector was born on 25 February 1958 at Onwe-Ejisu. He studied philosophy e theology at St. Peter’s Major Seminary Pedu, Cape Coast. He was ordained a priest at Onwe in July 1988. Ha has a Masters in theology. After pastoral ministry in parishes, since 1994 he has worked at Saint Paul Seminary and since 2000, as vice Rector. (S.L.) (Fides Service 20/10/2003; lines 8; words 106)
