AFRICA/SUDAN - Training courses for Sudanese teachers in refugee camps in Chad

Abeche (Agenzia Fides) - In Chad, in the city of Abeche, 70 primary school teachers in Sudanese refugee camps, in the eastern part of the Country, have attended a training course for the teaching of Arabic and mathematics. According to information from the local Radio Dabanga, the course, lasts 10 days, was organized by the Swiss RET association (Refugee Education Trust) working in this area with the refugees. The 70 teachers involved are operating in refugee camps in Gaga, Farshana, Treguine, Goz Amer, Djabal and Bredjing. (AP) (Agenzia Fides 15/10/2013)
