Monday, 3 December 2012

Toronto (Agenzia Fides) - The World Association for Christian Communication (WACC) and the International Federation of Journalists (FIP), have just released a new tool to promote ethical journalism, providing its correct description, so that it is taken into account in media and in the profession of journalism. According to information sent to Fides Agency, the "manual" consists of two books. The first focuses on the need to promote greater participation of women in the world of communication, while the second contains the ethical guide lines to be followed when dealing with the various issues (climate change, disasters, sexual health care, human trafficking, peace and security, political, sexual violence). These texts are the work of professionals, teachers and researchers of communication from Africa, Asia, Caribbean, Europe, Latin America, North America and the Pacific.
