Tai Pei (Agenzia Fides) - “ Come let's proclaim the Gospel ” is the call launched by young Catholics of Immaculate Heart of Mary parish, in the 7th deanery of Tai Pei archdiocese to their peers during a recent meeting with young people of St Francis Xavier Parish and the Youth Association of Light of Tai Dong. Accord to Tai Pei's Christian Life Weekly the theme of the meeting was “You are the most important!” and its goal was to increase missionary awareness and co-operation among young people and among parishes to re-launch evangelisation. The organisers say the Youth Organisation is a good motor for evangelisation and it must needs encouragement and spiritual accompaniment.
The meeting gave new impulse to young people of the Association to evangelise: consolidating friendships and communion will help increase collective missionary awareness. During the meeting the young people got to know one another and shared experience of faith in an atmosphere of celebration and recollection. A special Mass was a strong spiritual experience which allowed them to reflect on their missionary responsibility, their place and role in the life of the Church.
