ASIA/TAIWAN - “Kindle Hope of Life” theme of spiritual week promoted by Fu Ren Catholic University

Tai Pei (Agenzia Fides) - “Everyone, Christians and non Christians, is invited to meet Jesus. He will bring powerful emotion to your lives”. This is the invitation of an exhibition “When Life Encounters Jesus”, on show at the Divine Word centre of the Fu Ren Catholic University in Tai Pei, as part of a Spirituality Week on the theme “Kindle Hope of Life”. The bulletin of the archdiocese of Tei Pei Christian Life Weekly, reports that the week, celebrated at the beginning of April, consisted of conferences, prayers, a seminar, a retreat and the exhibition all focused on the theme of “Life”. The conferences were given by bishops, theologians, priests and teachers on various themes including “Dialogue with the religious person- pain and the transcendence of life ”, “sharing a life of faith ”, “The intercession of Love” etc. Besides teachers and lay people, present were also people of other religions warmly welcomed by the students. Most important the exhibition “When Life Encounters Jesus ”, following the line of life, presented many true stories and personal experiences of encounters with Jesus, transformation of life, Jesus brings life to people ….
