Rome (Fides Service) - “Jesus is Risen: Mission has Started” is the title of a three day meeting for diocesan and regional Holy Childhood delegates next month in Rome from 2 to 4 March. The Meeting is an annual event to promote Holy Childhood activity at the local level. This year’s gathering will focus on the figure of persons responsible for Holy Childhood at various levels, regional, diocesan, parish, as stated in the Statute of the Pontifical Mission Societies and on the all important theme of proclamation-service. The meeting will include group discussion and sharing of mission animation experience in varying local situations. The participants will also identify the significance and aims of the National Holy Childhood Meeting scheduled for 16 June 2007 in Latina, near Rome. In the lead-up to the National Meeting the Pontifical Mission Societies have planned a three stage preparation: stage one is available on the PMS national website, stages two and three will be available respectively after the pre-enrolment dateline March 24 and after enrolment.
