Vatican City (Agenzia Fides) - On behalf of Pope Benedict XVI, Cardinal Secretary of State Tarcisio Bertone S.D.B. sent a telegramme of sympathy to Metropolitan Archbishop Damian Zimon of Katowice, Poland, after Tuesday's accident at the Halemba coal mine in which 23 miners were killed. Upon them, he imparts his apostolic blessing, which he also extends to the entire archdiocese of Katowice”. From the Vatican, 22 November 2006. Cardinal Tarcisio Bertone, Secretary of State”. (S.L.)
