ASIA/TAIWAN - Bishop Wang blesses new Church dedicated to Our Lady of the Rosary

Tai Chung (Agenzia Fides) - Seven years ago a Catholic church in Cao Tun in the diocese of Tai Chung was among the many building destroyed in a severe earthquake which affected central Taiwan. Considering the geological aspect of the site the church was rebuilt in a different area. Recently, according to Christian Life Weekly the bulletin of Tei Pei diocese, the new church dedicated to Our Lady of the Rosary was blessed by Bishop Joseph Wang in the presence of Mgr James Liu, religious Superiors of communities in the diocese of Tai Chung and about a thousand priests, religious and lay Catholics.
