Tai Pei (Agenzia Fides) - It is enrolment time for a new term of Evening Classes in Christian Formation for lay people at Fu Ren Catholic University. According to Tai Pei archdiocesan bulletin Christian Life Weekly the classes will start in September 2006 and end in January 2007. The principal subjects are two: “Accompanying Prayer” by Prof. Moses Kan SJ and “Introduction to the New Testament” Prof. Jesus Munoz SJ. The classes will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays 7.30 to 9.30 and anyone may enrol.
The initiative of Evening Classes in Christian Formation for lay people at Fu Ren Catholic University was started 10 years ago to meet the needs of working Catholics. A new building for Evening Courses was inaugurated on 13 April 1994. Enrolment started in 1995. The classes have borne abundant fruits and highlight the farsightedness of the directors of Fu Ren University and their concern for the urgent matter of lay formation.
