EUROPE/ITALY - Bambino Gesu Children’s Hospital in Rome plans new pavilion for Paediatric Medicine Operative Units named after John Paul II

Vatican City (Agenzia Fides) - Thanks to efforts by the Hospital itself, generous donations from companies and individuals and funds collected with the One Euro a Child campaign, Bambino Gesu Children’s Hospital in Rome will build a modern pavilion 6,000 sq mt. The initiative will be presented at a press conference in Rome on Wednesday 5 July.
A special edition will allow the inauguration of the new pavilion named after John Paul II where the Paediatric Medicine Operative Units. A modern, comfortable structure to meet the needs of thousands of children from Italy and various other countries who come to the Hospital for special treatment and therapy. The little patients benefit from the work of a pool of specialists, USA model: intensive care management.
