Vatican City (Agenzia Fides) - The Congregation for the Evangelisation of Peoples on June 2 appointed rev. p. Marc Whelan, of the Congregation of the Holy Spirit CSSp, Rector of the inter-diocesan propaedeutic philosophy seminary in the diocese of Port Louis, Mauritius.
The new Rector was born on 2 June 1962 in Dublin (Ireland). He was ordained a priest on 23 September 1990. He has licentiate in philosophy and a degree in liturgy.
