On Sunday 18 June the Bishop will preside an open air Mass in the Plaza de Cultura, concelebrated by auxiliary Bishop Javier del Río, and the priests of the diocese. At the end of Mass there will be the traditional Blessed Sacrament Procession to the Shrine of Our Lady of Carmel, in a feast of communion to witness to faith and adoration of the Body and Blood of Christ and devotion to his Mother, patron of Callao. The Mass will mark the opening of the Marian Year, all the priests, religious men and women, members of confraternities, apostolic movements, authorities and all the faithful are invited.
