Wednesday, 31 May 2006

San José (Agenzia Fides) - Last weekend 70 young members of Youth Pastoral from various towns in the diocese of San José, visited 150 families in the area of Cañada Grande. The young people lived an authentic mission experience sent on a task not always easy as some of them said during the Mass for the closing of the mission.
Diocesan Administrator Mgr Pablo Galimberti Bishop of San José for 22 who always accompanied and encouraged his young people in various activities, celebrated the closing Mass with the young people who shared the experience and the local families expressed gratitude to the young people and their leaders and animators who led them on the mission. The Mass was concelebrated by Vicar General, rev. Alejandro Gallesio and local parish priest, rev. Javier Hernández. Bishop Galimberti encouraged the young people always to be faithful to Christ’s Love: "Christ called you to Cañada Grande to share the cold and discomfort of our community to be living witnesses of the Word of God among the people". The Bishop urged the young people to continue to witness to Christ every day: "May your missionary zeal be not just enthusiasm for a few days. In this Easter season every Christian is called to bear witness of faith, love and holiness". (RG) (Agenzia Fides 31/5/2006; righe 18, parole 272)
