Rome (Fides Service) - The Daughters of Saint Paul, communicators of the Gospel, known as DSP Sisters, have a given a new look to their web site www.paoline.org first opened in 1997. The site has five languages: English, French, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish. Besides the part open to the general public the site has a reserved area for the Daughters of Saint Paul themselves.
The first part illustrates the charisma of the Congregation, Daughters of Saint Paul as communicators of the Gospel, their activity and undertakings in various parts of the world. The Home Page provides information on their founder, Blessed Father Giacomo Alberione with moving images and a banner presenting the News; ‘Daughters of St Paul’ describes their charisma following in the footsteps of Saint Paul and their Founder; ‘Without borders’ on their presence in the world, with maps of the world, continents and individual countries with addresses; ‘For the Gospel’ presents specific missionary work and the 28 DSP web sites in different languages all over the world; clicking on ‘Youth Forum’ the viewer can intervene on subjects of particular interest to young people; ‘News’ offers news on DSP activities; ‘Documents’ gives more in depth information on the Daughters of Saint Paul, communicators of the Gospel; ‘In Prayer’ offers reflections for prayer in keeping with the Liturgical Season, and with regard to particular urgencies.
The area reserved for DSP offers General Secretariat information; activity and information on the different areas of apostolate, communications, formation, spirituality; documents and handbooks on subjects of interest for DSP; archives etc.
With their new web site the Daughters of Saint Paul, communicators of the Gospel, and their particular charisma aim to improve their service of the mission as well as provide access to books and multi-media products in various languages providing links with DSP sites all over the world.
