Warsaw (Agenzia Fides) - On the eve of World Mission Sunday, October 24, the Pontifical Mission Societies (PMS) in Poland have completely renewed their website. "The new website of the Pontifical Mission Societies was designed on the model of the web page of the International Secretariats of the PMS, to emphasize above all unity and family spirit", explains Fr. Maciej Bedziński, National Director of the PMS in Poland, in the note sent to Agenzia Fides. The new site is mainly intended for information, formation and presentation of the PMS activities in Poland. In particular, the universal nature of the PMS activities "with and for the Holy Father" is highlighted.
Fr. Bedziński points out the improvement in the functionality and centralization of the site: the home page in fact includes tabs dedicated to the four individual Societies: Pontifical Society for the Propagation of the Faith (POPF), Pontifical Society of the Holy Childhood (POSI), Pontifical Society of St. Peter the Apostle (POSPA), Pontifical Missionary Union (PUM).
The newsletter is also completely new: the PMS invites you to register in the database of contacts, through which those who wish will receive the most interesting information on the missionary world, on the activities of the Pope and will be updated on missionary materials offered by the PMS's own publishing house "Missio- Poland". An interesting proposal is also the virtual calendar "On the path of mission", with which the PMS provide information on missionary animation, important events and meetings. It is an invitation to participate in the initiatives and to pray for their success, a request expressed in particular by the members of the PUM. The new site also includes the monthly prayer intention proposed by the Pope, with the related comment, used above all by the prayer groups of the Living Rosary. The graphic design and technical aspects of the site were created by the Stacja7 group. (AS/SL) (Agenzia Fides, 21/10/2021)
