ASIA/CHINA - Catholic readers in China appreciate religious publications and want more says Faith bulletin

Shi Jia Zhuang (Fides Service) - Chinese Catholics say religious publications are valid channels for pastoral care and evangelisation and they are asking for more. This emerged in a survey made by the most widely read Chinese Catholic magazine Faith published in Hebei province.
The survey also showed that evangelisation is making progress thanks to clergy and laity in cities and in rural areas all over China. The Catholics interviewed said they would like to see ever more qualified input and in depth reflection on subjects such as liturgy, spirituality, Sacred Scripture, Catholic Social Doctrine and so forth.
