Sucre (Agenzia Fides) – Mgr. Ricardo Centellas, Archbishop of Sucre has urged to take on the spirit of co-responsibility, fraternity and mission in our life of faith, and the challenge of renewing ourselves at this moment with prayer and solidarity. He exhorted all the communities of the Archdiocese to promote spaces for meeting, prayer and reflection that lead us to make concrete commitments to promote the life and mission of the Church of Sucre.
"This is a favorable moment to realize that, in addition to doing mission, we are mission - underlined the Archbishop -. This must be our lifestyle that makes Jesus Christ present in the world as a sign of mercy and justice, of transparency and freedom, of love and communion. In this way we live our faith as a Church at the service of the Kingdom".
The Church's commitment in Sucre is aimed at helping the huge amount of people who have nothing to eat in this part of Bolivia due to the health emergency. "In the context of the pandemic we are experiencing, we are challenged to be a Samaritan Church, which lives solidarity and compassion for all, especially with the poorest", concluded Mgr. Centellas.
