AFRICA/GUINEA BISSAU - Appointment of the National Director of the Pontifical Mission Societies, Sister Ines Paulo Albinom, ASC

Vatican City (Agenzia Fides) - On March 5, 2020 Cardinal Luis Antonio G. Tagle, Prefect of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples, appointed Sister Ines Paulo Albino, ASC (Adorers of the Blood of Christ) as National Director of the Pontifical Mission Societies (PMS) in Guinea Bissau, for a five-year period (2020-2025).
The new National Director was born in Guinea Bissau on April 25, 1969. She received a Bachelor's degree in Theology and a licentiate in Biblical Theology at the Pontifical Gregorian University. Among her missionary experiences, she worked in the fields of evangelization, catechesis, teaching, youth ministry, and, at a diocesan level of liturgy, biblical teaching and inculturation. She was responsible for the parish of Santa Maria de Mattias - Ingoré. She also held leadership roles within her congregation. (SL) (Agenzia Fides, 4/6/2020)
