VATICAN - Holy See Press Office declaration with regard to Pope Benedict XVI’s visit to Turkey later this year

Vatican City (Fides Service) - At the end of the morning on 9 February the head of the Holy See Press Office Joaquín Navarro-Valls released the following declaration in Italian: “I confirm that the President of Turkey Ahmet Necdet Sezer invited His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI to make an official visit to that country 28-30 November 2006.
