Monday, 30 January 2006

Rome (Fides Service) - The January issue of “Il ponte d’oro” (the golden bridge) the monthly magazine issued by the Pontifical Holy Childhood Society has a new look and new contents. Interesting features include ‘children’s news’ about Holy Childhood around the world. The page, with the title “I can only love a person if I know where they are” focuses on one particular mission country. Then there is the Gospel which becomes “a prayer”; a cartoon; news about a Holy Childhood solidarity project; an illustrated story from Mozambique; InfoPOIM with information and photos of Holy Childhood children in different parts of the country (Italy); a dossier on a messenger of hope: this month Benedetta Bianchi Porro, a little girl witness of joy and hope; and last but not least, puzzles and cut-out games.
The national Holy Childhood Office also distributes a Children’s Missionary Kit to help children become missionaries in spirit and action in four ways: prayer, faith sharing, solidarity-cooperation, dialogue.
