Hochiminh Ville (Agenzia Fides) - Archbishop Giampietro Dal Toso, adjunct Secretary of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples, President of the Pontifical Mission Societies (PMS), is in Vietnam, for a visit dedicated to meeting pastoral workers engaged in missionary animation, especially in view of the preparation and celebration of the Extraordinary Missionary Month of October 2019.
Mgr. Dal Toso will meet the Bishops who form the Bishops' Conference of Vietnam, led by Mgr. Joseph Nguyen Chi Linh, which will take place this afternoon (local time). Between meetings and visits that mark these days, tomorrow, April 26, the President of the PMS will talk about the reality of the PMS and the urgency of the missionary commitment of priests and superiors of the men and women religious gathered in Xuan Loc, thus responding to their questions. In the Saint Joseph Major Seminary in Xuan Loc the meeting with formators and seminarians will take place in the afternoon. On Saturday 27 April, in Hochiminh Ville, the Archbishop will meet major seminarians, priests, men and women religious and lay people involved in missionary animation activities.
