During the weekly press conference of MINUSCA in Bangui, the spokesperson of the UN mission, Ms. Uwolowulakana Ikavi-Gbétanou, reaffirmed MINUSCA's commitment to provide support to the government structures of Central Africa so that "criminals can be prosecuted and severely punished for this cowardly and shameful crime.
