Taipei (Fides Service) - Respect for the life and dignity of every human person; caring for our own life and that of our neighbour; discovering the authentic meaning of life, were some of the themes presented in a series of meetings organised at Keelung Catholic High School in the archdiocese of Taipei. According to Christian Life Weekly issued by the Taipei archdiocese the itinerary of formation will last two months and have various stages. The experience, which will involve the school’s pupils and other young people started with an act of devotion to Our Lady Queen of the Rosary. Vicar general John Yao told the students: “The Blessed Virgin Mary is patron of China: we should always pay her homage and ask for her intercession”.
The theme of the first talk was “Hope for Life”, which focused on young people with psychological problems. One of the speakers, a member of the Rare Diseases Foundation, urged the students to “respect life with love” and “live life with joy and gratitude”.
