ASIA/TAIWAN - Mass with the sick in the Catholic Prayer Room at a Tai Pei state hospital

Tai Pei (Fides Service) - According to Christian Life Weekly bulletin issued by Tai Pei archdiocese recently a Mass was held in the Catholic Prayer Room at Tai Pei State Hospital attended by Catholic members of hospital management and staff and volunteers and also some patients. The Mass was presided by Fr Zhang Superior of the Congregation of the Lord’s Disciples, China’s first male religious congregation, which was founded by Italian missionary Bishop Celso Costantiti. In his homily Fr. Zhang said: “We follow Christ because he leads us to eternal life. He asks us to face trials not to turn away. We must share his passion in order to share in his glory and resurrection”. He encouraged the volunteers to give encouragement and hope telling them of Christ’s love for them.
