Vatican City (Agenzia Fides) - Today, Pope Francis has accepted the resignation from the pastoral governance of the Archdiocese of Port of Spain (Trinidad and Tobago), presented by His Exc. Mgr. Joseph Everard Harris, C.S.Sp. The Pope appointed His Exc. Mgr. Charles Jason Gordon as Archbishop of Port of Spain, currently Bishop of the diocese of Bridgetown (Barbados), who remains Apostolic Administrator "sede vacante et ad nutum Sanctae" of the diocese of Bridgetown.
