AFRICA/CIAD - Appointment of the Rector of "San Mbaga Tuzindé" Major Seminary in Sarh

Vatican City (Agenzia Fides) - On June 22, 2017 Cardinal Fernando Filoni, Prefect of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples, appointed the Rector of "San Mbaga Tuzindé" interdiocesan Major Seminary in the diocese of Sarh (Chad), Rev. Samuel Mbairabe Tibingar, of the Archdiocesan clergy of N'Djamena.
The new rector was born on July 27, 1972 in the region of Moyen Chari, Sarh. After primary and secondary school at St. Charles Lwanga College in Sarh, in 1997 he entered the Saint Luc de Bakara Major Seminary in N'Djamena. He was ordained a priest on November 26, 2005. After his ordination he was Vice-Parish priest and Parish priest, he studied Biblical Exegesis in Rome (2007-2011) and obtained his PhD in Biblical Theology (2012-2016). From 2011 to 2016 he carried out his pastoral ministry in the Archdiocese of Florence. (SL) (Agenzia Fides, 31/08/2017)
