Havana (Agenzia Fides) - This year, the 28th Caravan of the United States-Cuba Friendship also landed on the Caribbean island. As part of its agenda, the group will tour several Cuban provinces and meet with people, churches and cultural institutions. Since 1992, what is known as the Caravan of Pastors for Peace addresses its initiatives towards Cuba with the aim of fighting the US embargo. After a tour across 50 North American cities, activists led by Pastors for Peace, an interreligious body born in 1988, continue to inform about the island's reality.
