Tuxtepec (Agenzia Fides) - The Casa Hogar Chiria, founded over 20 years ago in the territory of San Bartolo, assists street children and with family issues. In order to welcome these children, this year’s project is based on an African model called "Watoto". The head of Chiria told Fides that, at present, the House is home to 12 children and with the new facilities it will welcome between 60 and 80, in addition to having a custody service for working mothers and have no possibility of leaving their children . The new center aims to reach an area of 10 hectares where one can create a real home for street children and for those who have family problems. (AP) (Agenzia Fides 07/03/2017)
